Organization of the Faculty of Medicine
The administration of the Faculty of Medicine at Ruhr University Bochum is organized into several closely cooperating units to ensure the foundation for outstanding teaching and research. The central point of contact for all matters relating to studying and teaching is the Dean of Studies Office. Here, students receive advice on the course of studies, examinations and practical assignments. The Office of the Dean of Studies supports you on topics relating to your studies and ensures that everything runs smoothly.
Examination office
The Examinations Office coordinates the organization and implementation of all examinations in medical studies. It is also responsible for the evaluation of courses to continuously improve the quality of teaching. Students can obtain information and support on all examination-related topics here.
Committees and commissions
At the Faculty of Medicine, committees play a central role in academic self-governance, shaping key decisions on study programs, teaching, research, and academic processes. Representatives from all member groups work together to structure and organise the interests of the faculty.
