Walk safe - Escort protection by RUB security service

Since the beginning of this year, Ruhr-Universität has had a contract with a new security company. Anyone at RUB who feels unsafe or uncomfortable on their way to the parking garage, bicycle or bus stop can be accompanied by a security guard on campus.

Support can be requested around the clock every day. One call is all it takes: within the university on landline -27001, mobile +49 234 32 27001 (tip: it's best to save this number under contacts and mark it as a favorite).

This service is free of charge for all students, employees, researchers, teaching staff and guests of the university. It is offered by the Department of Infrastructural Facility Management, supported by the Anti-Discrimination Office, the Equal Opportunities Office and the anti-sexism campaign “Our Campus”.
